Resident Intern Audiologist

Doctor of Audiology Student Spring 2026

Unique is our new 4th year extern here at HAI. A dedicated individual, Unique earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a focus in Science and Medicine from the University of California, San Diego in 2016. She’s currently working towards her doctorate degree from A.T. Still University School of Health Sciences in Mesa, Arizona. While she was born in San Bernardino, California, Unique spent her formative years in Indio, California, in the Coachella Valley.

Unique chose audiology because the senses utterly amaze her, and she believes that hearing is a fundamental part of how we connect with the world and each other. Unique is a recipient of the 2024 James Case Student Clinician Award from The Arizona Speech-Language-Hearing Association, an honor recognizing strong academic and clinical skills. She also holds an Adult Mental Health First Aid USA Certification.

When she’s not immersed in the world of audiology, Unique, the oldest of four and the only girl, loves to explore, attend raves, practice yoga, read, and dive into a good TV show or podcast. She also enjoys spending time with her two cats, Zero and Domino. As a true Taurus sun, she’s also a huge foodie who loves to cook and try new restaurants.
