Does my insurance cover me for hearing care and/or hearing aids? is one of the most common questions we hear from patients and potential patients. Sometimes it is difficult to provide an easy answer to that question.

Each insurance company and each coverage package differs from another in relation to what procedures and treatments they cover as well as the level of benefits available. In some cases, coverage only includes hearing tests while others provide for the latest technology and complete hearing care. 

Due to the technical lingo and various layers of conditions that must be met, dealing with an insurance company is rarely easy and can be quite frustrating. Even those who hear perfectly struggle to understand what an insurance representative is saying, but things are further complicated when individuals with a hearing loss have difficulty understanding telephone conversations.

As part of Hearing Associates’ commitment to providing our patients with top-level hearing care, we have a specially trained insurance benefit specialist on our team who can check your coverage on your behalf.

Why We Don’t Participate With Third-Party Administrator Networks

At Hearing Associates, we believe hearing healthcare should be based on your individual needs—not the limitations of a third-party administrator network.

Many hearing aid benefit programs use outside administrators to manage coverage, provider participation, and treatment recommendations. While these programs can be helpful in some situations, they often limit provider choice, available technology, appointment time, and ongoing care options.

By remaining independent, we’re able to recommend the hearing solutions, treatment plans, and follow-up care that we believe are best for you—not what a third-party network requires.

Our focus is simple: providing personalized hearing healthcare, advanced technology, and long-term support to help you achieve the best possible outcome.

If you have hearing aid benefits through a third-party administrator, our team will be happy to review your options and help you understand the differences between using your network benefits and receiving care through our practice.
