How Lyric™ works
While traditional hearing aids capture and process sound outside of the ear, Lyric™ uses the natural anatomy of the ear to amplify and give you a full, natural listening experience.
Because Lyric™ is placed in the ear canal near the eardrum, it is the world’s only 100% invisible hearing aid.
How do I try Lyric™ hearing aids?
As accredited Lyric specialists, you simply call Hearing Associates Inc to arrange your Lyric hearing aid appointment where we will:
- Conduct a thorough hearing test to check your hearing levels, speech understanding and your ability to hear in background noise.
- Perform a Lyric Candidacy check by measuring your ear canal length and size. Then we’ll insert a dummy Lyric device to give you an idea of how it will feel and to check it’s comfortable for you. We’ll also answer any questions you may have about using Lyric hearing aids and provide you with information to read before your fitting.
- At your first Lyric Fit appointment, we’ll insert a real Lyric hearing aid and get you on your way to hearing again. Day and night, Lyric allows you to carry on with life as usual without anyone knowing about your hearing loss. Each Lyric hearing aid is programmed specifically for your ear and sound preferences. You can also adjust the volume and turn it on and off yourself.
- Follow up and care appointments will follow to adjust the sound settings, if required and check your comfort levels.
When you choose Hearing Associates Inc to fit your Lyric hearing aids, you receive a full 45-day no-obligation trial to ensure a Lyric device is perfect for you.
Once you are completely happy with your Lyric hearing aids, we’ll make quick replacement appointments every few months. These appointments should only take 15 – 30 minutes each time. If you are interested and able, we can train you to change the devices yourself!
